I’m not going to talk about why adsense is best advertising program, as even posting some of the best adsense alternative, no one is clearly close to what Adsense pays us. I have been using Adsense for long and been testing and playing with Adsense, to increase my Google Adsense revenue.

Adsense for Domains is Open for Everyone

We earlier talked about Adsense for Domains in our post about making money from domains. Google had this AdSense product for domains, but only people with huge portfolios could have access to it.

Today they are opening that product up to all publishers, so even if you have few domains laying around you will now be able to put AdSense on them.
The good news is that it will be more money that what it was possible to make before with the domain parking companies (if nothing else you are taking out the middle man).
To use this feature, you just need to log into your AdSense account and click on the “AdSense Setup” tab, and there should be an “AdSense for domains” option there. Currently it is only available to U.S. AdSense publishers though, but Google should expand it to everyone else soon.

Adsense CPM Ads

PLease do clarify what if none of the ads is being clicked by any of the visitors?… But for instance,the page is having a lot of visitors… Will adsense pay just for displaying ads on a page – which is viewed by lot of ppl?

You’re asking about CPM ads. CPM stands for “cost per 1000 impressions.” Advertisers running CPM ads set their desired price per 1000 ads served and pay each time their ad appears.
CPM ads can only be server on a page if a Adwords advertiser bid for placing CPM ads and place higher bid then CPC ads. So it is a rare scenario, that you get CPM ads on your pages.
My experience is CPM ads yeild high revenue, even some time tripple the CPC ads. CPM ads in Google Adsense compete against pay-per-click (or CPC, cost per click) ads in the ad auction, so only the highest performing ads will be served to your pages. If an advertiser wants to specifically target your site, they will need to bid high enough to beat out the CPC ads that are already in the auction in order to show up on your page. Google pays you each time a CPM ad is shown on your page. But you won’t earn additional revenue for clicks on these ads.

Adsense Now Available on Mobile Apps

If you have a mobile phone where you can download apps, then you may have noticed that some of the apps have ads on them. Mobile application developers use them to make money. Google had been testing AdSense on mobile apps for the iPhone and Android in a kind of private beta with roughly 10 partners, including Pandora, Shazam and Urbanspoon. Now the program is opening up to apps developers and publishers who meet some criteria (among them, a 3 month commitment, 100K+ page views).
