NADRA DG warns people of swindlers

Friday, June 06, 2014 - Karachi—National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Sindh chapter Director General Brig. (Retd) Zahid Hussain had asked the people to be aware of imposeters, who were minting hefty sums of money from the applicants.The swindlers were collecting Rs 10, 000 form hassle-free submissions of their applications for national computerised identity cards (CNIC) with fake signatures of ex-Registrar Ali Arshad Hakeem. Brig. Hussain said that NADRA had not launched any scheme for any financial assistance on applications that would bear signatures of ex-Registrar.
He advised the applicants to stay away from the swindlers and if any would contact them, they should immediately report to Police.
He also advised the applicants that they should not bother NADRA staffers as it would only create impediments in carrying out required public tasks.
